Peanut Butter Buckeye Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 19.5-ounce package brownie mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 cup chopped honey roasted peanuts
  • 1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy honey peanut butter


Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Lightly grease a 13×9x2-inch (3 qt) baking pan and set aside
  3. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs and oil; beat until combined
  4. Stir in peanuts
  5. Remove slightly more than half of the brownie mix and set aside
  6. Spread remaining brownie mix into prepared pan
  7. Combine sweetened condensed milk and peanut butter in a medium bowl until smooth.
  8. Spread peanut butter mixture evenly over the brownie mixture in the pan.
  9. Separate the reserved brownie mixture into pieces.
  10. Flatten each piece with your fingers and place on top of peanut butter mixture.
  11. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until top is set and edges are lightly browned.
  12. Cool completely in pan or on a wire rack.
